Why do some people find success with money while others don’t?
How many times have we seen marriages end in divorce because of money issues?
How many times have you seen businesses fold up because of cashflow problems?
How often have we seen nations collapse because they ran out of money?
And how many times have financial institutions melt down and collapse because they didn’t see the famine coming?
I know most people don’t like talking money, partly because money is everywhere, but partly because for most people, it appears to be a scarce commodity.
According to a recent research, poverty is being redefined in the modern world because the people who are poor are not necessarily people unemployed, but rather people of a working household.
1% of the whole population possess what 95% earn put together!
“Successful people make money. It’s not that people who make money become
successful, but that successful people attract money. They bring success to what they do.”
Can we also talk about debt?
In the UK; Every 6 minutes and 13 seconds, someone was made insolvent in 2015!
£5,429 is the average spent on credit card per second!
£100 million A DAY is the increase in the total net lending to individuals in March 2015!
The average total debt per adult is £29,186!
£203 is the average increase in consumer credit per person in the year leading to March!
While the average total debt per household is £55,197!
Why do some people find success with money while others don’t?
Why do some people earn little but turn it into wealth?
Why do some people turn debts into wealth?
The Lord showed me this scripture as I meditated an hour ago and I just couldn’t wait to share it with you;
Gen 41: 29-36
“There will come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt, but after them there will arise seven years of famine, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt; …… And the doubling of Pharaoh’s dream means that the thing is fixed by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. Now therefore let Pharaoh select a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. ….. and take the fifth part of the produce of the land of Egypt during the seven plenteous years. 3And let them gather all the food of these good years that are coming, and lay up grain under the authority of Pharaoh for food in the cities, and let them keep it. That food shall be a reserve for the land against the seven years of famine which are to befall the land of Egypt, so that the land may not perish through the famine.”
In truth, I believe if I don’t even say anything, the message is in the text above.
Are you saving for the time of famine? Or are you spending everything as if there will never be famine?
“Successful people make money. It’s not that people who make money become
successful, but that successful people attract money. They bring success to what they do.”
Next week I’ll be back to talk about money………………
