yet they provide their food in the summer;
the badgers are a people not mighty,
yet they make their homes in the rocks;
the locusts have no king,
yet all of them march in rank;
the lizard you can take in your hands,
yet it is in kings’ palaces.”
(Pr 30: 25-28)
Good morning I’m so excited to be with you this morning sharing the word.
I want to quickly exalt you this morning and I hope you’re blessed!
How do the ants make provisions for food when they are so tiny, endangered and most likely to fail?
How would they carry enough to feed on?
What about the badger?
How do they dig through the rocks? How do burrow where even foxes dare not go?
Have you seen a swarm of locusts, flying into a farm?
Who leads the flight? Who coordinates such synchronised movement?
How is it even possible?
And the lizard? 😄
How do they get past the palace guards?
How do they beat the protocol at the presidential palace?
How do they go into places that VIPs cannot even get to?
Let me share a few lessons with you from this passage, and remember, IF IT AIN’T OVER, YOU’RE NOT YET DONE!
LESSONS
1) SIZE DOES NOT MATTER AFTER ALL
If the ant can have enough, in spite of its size, anybody can!
It’s not about you or your size, it’s about the size of your heart.
What is it that you want to achieve?
Are you still fazed about the enormity of the task?
David was smaller than Goliath.
Elijah and Gehazi faces an army
He that is in you is greater that those against you.
How big is your heart? How big is the inner man in you?
Don’t look to the size of the problem, the situation, task or challenge, look to the size of your God and your heart.
Believe.
2) IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING
If the badger can dig through a rock, what excuse do you have?
Yes, it won’t happen overnight but it would happen if you persist and persevere.
The badger goes to work daily; morning, afternoon, evening without fail and without break. It needs to find itself a safe place to hide from its predators.
What predators do you have to work hard to escape from? : debts, failure, disappointments?
The rock is hard, but the badger finds a way, so you too can! Do you believe that say amen!
There is nothing impossible for you that you cannot achieve “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matt 19:26
3) DON’T LET ANYBODY SAY YOU CAN’T!
Opinion is cheap today! Ask anybody or somebody or someone, they would have any, some, or an opinion to give you.
Sadly there are not many who say ‘you can’
Because of their own experiences and personal struggles, most people tell you, ‘you cant’ and they feed that into you.
So can you? Yes you can!
How does the lizard find its way into the palace? Yes you can!
You don’t need man to do IT, IT does not have to happen the way of the world, for “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy” Rom 9:16
There is nothing that is not available or possible for you to achieve!
Doctors have given up on YOU? Yes you can!
The lenders are almost foreclosing? Yes you can!
You’re losing the battle over the marriage? Yes you can!
You’re not sure you’ll make it? Yes you can!
You’re not sure you can turn it around? Yes you can!
Yes you can!
Remember, What the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve!
4) YOU NEED TO BE ORGANISED TO WIN
Have you seen the locusts in flight?
Have you seen an orchestra playing?
Have you witnessed a flight of birds?
It’s synchronised and is a beauty to the eyes.
God has given you everything you need: brain, intellect, choice and will.
What you need to synchronise it all is Organisation.
Can you organise the little details to make the Big One?
Can you get the sum of little parts together that would form the big picture?
Can you wake up in the morning and play the day in your mind before you step into it?
Can you run through the meeting, the presentation, the game, the situation and the solution in your mind before you arrive there?
Can you be so organised that confusion is driven out of your life?
To win in life, to fight successfully, to be successful and to breakthrough, you must have a detailed plan of action.
Don’t just waffle through it and hope! Hope is not a plan!
The grasshoppers attack a farm and are gone in minutes, but they leave with a ton of food. The secret? Organisation.
I don’t know where you’re at in your life right now, you could need a bit of organisation, block out the naysayers, believe IT is possible, or enlarge the size of your heart and trust the size of your God.
whatever it is, you need to know that IF IT AIN’T OVER, YOU’RE NOT YET DONE!
