THE UNSEEN THIEF: TO KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY

A thief, according to the dictionary, is a person who steals another person’s property, especially by stealth or in secret.

Simply put, Jesus Christ speaking here describes the thief as anyone who comes to take your personal property without permission or legal right and without intending to return it. He says a thief is anyone who has come with the view to damage, attack and destroy what you have, and put an end to your existence by killing you in the process if necessary.

A thief is not a friend but a foe..

We read of robberies, burglaries and other heists with chilling terror in the age we live in; opportunist thieves, planned robbery, sometimes with arms and other chilling stories similar to the above, but today I want to concentrate more on the unseen thief, the spiritual thief and its demonic attacks; the one who steals, destroys and kills, but, in the spirit realm.

“while men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.” Matt 13:25

Eph 6:18 says “Pray at all times”

As we saw in the above passage, the spiritual thief not only comes to visit, he leaves something behind when he departs. As we read above, tares are left among the wheats’ What are tares?

Tares are injurious weeds that take over a person’s farm and choke the crops, killing them before harvest.

When spiritual tares are sown into a person’s life, home, ministry, marriage, health, business or career, those weeds strangle the individuals, the business, organisation, marriage or ministry and choke them to death.

Ever heard of the one that has no medical diagnosis but sickness/illness persists?

The enemy has sown tares into the body, spirit and soul. Wherever tares are scattered, there is eventual death unless it meets with spiritual resistance from the receptor.

Death can be financial death, spiritual death, marital death and/or physical death.

Thieves rob banks, vaults, homes where there is money, gold, accessories, cars and other valuables. Thieves rob businesses, stalls and organisations that have something/s to offer them.

So why should it be any different in the spirit realm? The reason the enemy wants to attack you, has attacked you or is attacking you is because you have something that is valuable that is wanted or needed in satanic kingdom.

It is because you have something, or you are about to receive something – a promotion, a child, a blessing, a breakthrough – that he wants, so quit wondering why and get on with the job.

Know this: the enemy fights where there is harvest, gains, wealth, and possessions, because his aim is to steal IT and deprive you of IT..

If there is an attack, it’s because you are a carrier of valuable goods.

Even though the thief tries to engage unannounced, and without confrontation, however, a thief is always ready to fight his/her corner if attacked. During a heist in the physical realm, if you resist instructions or choose not to cooperate properly, thieves can resort to weapons: knives, machetes, guns and all.

In the spirit world, it is no different, because thieves come armed with guns, knives and other weapons in order to achieve their aims.

In the spiritual realm, violence is a recurrent tactic of the enemy, and a given on the battlefield. Violence is to intimidate you and I into submission and scare us to flight and not fight. Matt 11-12 says “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force.”

So engage by force and expect force from the opposition.

I hear it said a lot; ‘I was minding my business when disaster struck’ ‘I was doing my thing when attacks suddenly started’

Hello! And Welcome to spiritual warfare.

You don’t have to do anything to provoke an attack..

In fact most spiritual attacks are Irrational and unprovoked.

If you’re purposeful, on a mission, full of glory and affecting your generation in a positive way by changing lives, don’t be surprised if you become a candidate for deadly assault from the dark world.

You don’t have to say anything or do anything, the fact that you’re blessed or are a blessing for Christ is a pre-requisite in evil

Kingdoms.

Ex 17:8 says “Then came Am’alek and fought with Israel at Reph’idim”

Israelites were on their the way to Canaan, on a journey to destiny, with the wealth of Egypt when Amalek came from behind.

Amalek is representative of satanic warfare. Their attack on the Israelites made no sense, was illogical and irrational – many nations were afraid and in awe of the Israelites after what their God did to Pharaoh – and against all odds, but because Israel was carrying something great, Amalek became an instrument of attack, and the attack was from behind, defeating the unprepared ones

Are you ready for Amalek when they attack?

In medicine, an auto-immune disease develops when your immune system, which defends your body against disease, is triggered by something and suddenly decides your healthy cells are foreign. As a result, your immune system attacks healthy cells in your body. Bottom line? The body starts to fight itself.

In the spiritual world, the enemy has also engaged this tactic for thousands of years; the auto-immune warfare: when you engage yourself and begin to destroy you and those in association with you.

Luke 11:27 says “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and a divided household falls.”

If he can get you to fight yourself, or yourselves, all he has to do is just sit down and wait for destruction and self-inflicted wounds to be complete.

When husband and wife begin to slight and fight each other without any tangible reasons then you know the enemy is at work and the end is near.

When business partners engage hostilities, when teams break up into fractions, when families start to slur each other, these are signs of spiritual auto-immune attacks, been initiated from the pits of hell.

Be warned! Don’t be ignorant of the crafty devices of the evil one.

Sin can also be a major catalyst in spiritual attacks. 1Cor 10:8-9 says “We must not indulge in immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in a single day.”

The Israelites had been undefeated at this point in time, but when sin entered the camp, death came calling for several families. When we sin – and there are so many things that can be sin in the eyes of God – we remove God’s protective covering over us and our lives, allowing the enemy to deal with us.

Remember the mission is to steal, destroy and kill.

1Cor 10:5-6 says “Nevertheless with most of them God was not pleased; for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things are warnings for us, not to desire evil as they did”

I pray the Lord give you understanding in these things amen.

Pray and be on guard.

Mk 14:38 says “Watch and pray“

1Thess 5:17 says “pray constantly”

You have to watch and pray constantly without ceasing, always ready to avoid, prevent, foil and fight the attacks of the evil one.

Lord deliver me from the visitor that leaves horror behind on exit.

Lord deliver me from the evil one whose visit and departure leaves footprints of sadness in my life.

Every power that allows me to work but refuses to allow me reap the fruit of my labour, stalking me night and day, Lord destroy them in Jesus name.

Every grasshopper, locust and cankerworm that have been set loose upon my harvest, let the east wind begin to destroy them in Jesus name.

Every satanic web of deceit in form of association, counsel, advice, meeting and acquaintances, surrounding my associates, partners, spouse, friends and helpers of destinies and creating havoc and confusion in our lives, ministry, association, marriage, business, career, health, finances let them be destroyed forever in Jesus name.

O lord Put a halt to every satanic attack militating against my life, ministry, association, marriage, business, career, health, finances in Jesus name.

Put a halt to the siege over my life, ministry, association, marriage, business, career, health and finances in Jesus name.

Every voice of dissent sowing seeds of sorrow into my marriage, business, ministry and life, I silence you forever in Jesus name

Every oracle speaking venom of separation, dissolution, failure, strife and division into my ministry, marriage, business associations, and career, let them receive the thunder fire of God now in Jesus name

Let every evil spiritual venom operating in the veins and blood of my ministry, marriage, business, career, soul and my body, be neutralised forever right now by the power of the Lord God Almighty in Jesus name.

Every spiritual attack over my life, marriage, ministry, health, children, home, business and career, drawing strength from my ignorance and the cover of darkness, let the Holy Ghost foil it now in Jesus name.

Everyone fighting the determination of my helpers of destiny from staying with me, my spouse from staying with me, my business associates from staying with me, let them be disappointed in Jesus name.

Every beat of self destruction that I’m dancing to, let it be torn to shreds now by the angels of God in Jesus name.

Deliver me from every spiritual attack coming from behind me in Jesus name.

Lord every unprovoked and irrational attack against my life, health, home, marriage, children, business, career and my finances, let them cease today in Jesus name.

Prepare me spiritually O lord before any satanic invasion.

Every association of mine that has compromised on my case, let them be exposed and removed completely from and around me in Jesus name.

O lord let your outstretched right hand stop every war advancing towards me

Every picture, animal, dreams and visuals that my associates, partners, spouse, friends and helpers of destinies have seen, that is causing us trouble in our lives, association, marriage, ministry, business, career, health, finances, begin to erase the memory and nullify its effects in Jesus name.

I refuse to fight myself in Jesus name.

My spouse, associates, and angels refuse to fight ourselves in Jesus name.

Every sin that opens the door for assault from the enemy, Lord deliver me from it.

When I have the opportunity to sin, remove my desire and when I have the desire, o lord give me no opportunities in Jesus name.

No weapon fashioned against me Shall prosper.

Every evil satanic hand stretched towards me shall wither in Jesus name.

Every ritual carried out because of my ministry, marriage, home, business, health, career, finances, troubling it to its foundations, Lord begin to scatter it and nullify its venom in Jesus name

I refuse to concede my ministry, marriage, business, home, health, career to the enemy.

I refuse to hand over my glory and possessions to the enemy.

I declare angelic and heavenly war against every satanic ministry camped against my ministry, home, marriage, business, career, life in Jesus name.

Every darkness surrounding me, in the form of foes acting as friends, or friends acting as foes, giving cover to the enemy to fight me and my ministry, home, marriage, business, career and health unhindered, O lord shine your light towards it now and bring the war to an end in Jesus name.

Every auto-immune attack triggered in my ministry, home, business, career and finances, Lord let your healing hand, O balm of Gilead put an end to it now in Jesus name.

I begin to claim restoration in ministry, home, business, career, marriage, finances, health and my life in Jesus name

Every year, month, week, day, hour, minute and second that has been lost to spiritual warfare in my ministry, home, business, career, finances, marriage, health and my life, be restored back in multifolds in Jesus name.
