Most people work throughout their entire life but never truly reach the heights they set out to reach when they started their careers. I have seen a lot of people complain and say that ‘they always overlook me whenever it’s time to pick the manager’
Some say ‘I never get mentioned when they are recommending people for the team leader role’.
How about money matters? Some others vent this frustration when it comes to money matters; ‘I never seem to have enough at month’s end’ Or ‘How is it that even though I always get a pay rise, my salary is never enough to pay my bills and do all I want to do in life’ Or ‘There seem to be a big hole in my bank account, because on pay day, money goes in but I don’t ever get to see that money at all’
I have been there before in my life when I never had enough at the beginning of the month, by the middle of the month I was borrowing to make ends meet, and by month’s end I was paying those I had borrowed from, and then I was broke again.
I lived that cycle for months, perhaps a few years until I got tired of being broke and decides to break that cycle of limitations. My turning point was one Christmas when I had no money to even buy even a decent Christmas meal, had to eat baked beans and bread! I saw many happy people: children walking along the shopping malls with their parents, toys in hand and happy smiles on their faces ; men and women all over the malls going from one shop to the other, coming out with big shopping bags and many couples holding hands, visibly content and happy with the lives they were living. Why couldn’t it be me too? I asked myself. Why should I always be unhappy and unfulfilled I asked myself as I watched these people?
As I asked the Lord for answers, he began to show me why I never had enough. The secret to increase lies in becoming good stewards of time, good stewards of money, and good stewards of everything we possess.
Even though you are little, your life is HIDDEN NOT from God, and HIDDEN NOT from those who are over you and above you.
“He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much” (Luke 16:10)
Can God trust you with little? Then He can elevate you into much.
Can man trust you with small beginnings, then he can trust you with more.
Was I really faithful with the little that I had or was I wasteful with them?
God is THE WISE BUSINESSMAN and He would never display unfinished articles on his shelf ; he knows exactly where you are in your thinking and would not allow you to have more than you can handle.
Yes, I know you believe you are ready, but God knows more about your spending habits than you can ever know about yourself. He would not give you more until he knows you’re ready for it.
He would not promote you past what your capacity can handle.
Yes I agree that there are discriminations in the work place, but there is a place of excellence that you arrive at in life, that you can no longer be overlooked; there is a height you attain that you become indispensable in that market place : and there is a value you bring that even the most stubborn and pessimistic boss would not but fail to see.
So what is stopping you from the pay rise, the promotion and the excellent life?
“For this very reason make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness…..For if these things are yours and abound, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful” (2 Pet 1:5-8)

It’s not just faith or belief, you have to add some things to it
It’s not just your confessions, you have to’ do it’
The very thing stopping you is available to you in acquired knowledge and transferable skills.
Faith without works is dead.
When you’re truly ready, God shows up for you with opportunities to learn and become more.
