Sometimes the only thing we need in order to advance is change. Change from the known to the unknown, from the familiar to the unfamiliar, and a departure from our set ideas to try new things.

Abram was pretty comfortable and doing ‘okay’ here until the Lord asked him to go out and venture into ‘a place’ he didn’t know.
He didn’t know where he was going, he wasn’t told what day to leave, he sure wasn’t shown how the new neighbours or colleagues would be like, nor was he shown how the journey to get there was going to look like.
The instructions to him were; leave, go somewhere I’ll show you and things would be great so you can help others as well’

What do you do when someone up there decides to mess up your plans?
How do you react when He decides to just ruffle your feathers?
What do you do when God’s instructions take you out of balance?

“So Abram went, as the Lord had told him” Genesis 12:4
Abram just obeyed. Abram had faith, he believed, and that single act transformed him to the place of greatness
Romans 4:3 says ‘Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness’

Is there anyone struggling with change right now?
Perhaps it’s your career, or your business or even circle of friends that needs variation or change, but you’re struggling to make that decision, even though you know it’s time to move on?
Some call it intuition, most say it’s a gut feeling, while others say they feel it in their spirit; Abram heard from the Lord and he knew it was time to move on.
Abram was ‘just doing okay’ but he knew that just doing fine is not the same as doing great.

He knew it was time to change the cause so that he could get a different effect
He knew it was time to come out and be different from the others around him
He knew it was time to make a change for the better
He knew it was time to explore new ideas, and venture into new areas
He knew, it was time to leave the comfort zone and embrace the unknown
Abram knew it was time to leave the known for the unknown.

Have you heard? Do you know? Has God spoken? He rarely says another thing, until you obey the those instructions He last gave you, not in part, but wholly.
Do you discern it’s time to make a change?
My prayer is that the Lord give you the courage to come out of your comfort zone. That you have the grace to accept what you can’t change and the boldness to change what you can. May you move from being just okay to becoming great in your life, health, career, business and every other thing, so that you may become a blessing to this generation, so be it.
