(l Kings 13:4)
“And his hand which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it again to him”
The chapter begins like this; ‘Behold there came a man of God…. by the word of God to Bethel’
He came by the word of God, so that means he was sent.
The man of God was on a mission, he was on the job, and enduring a process; perhaps a prophet, an evangelist, a pastor, or a minister; you and I?
‘And he cried against the altar in the word of God’ (v.2)
God sent him on an errand but the errand was not a pleasant one but a defiant one to the king, in the presence of the people. I’m just circling around a bit and I’ll touch down in a minute.
‘And it came to pass when the king heard the saying of the man of God….. He put forth his hand from the altar’. The king was angry as soon as he heard the news, he became furious, and was bent on harming the man of God. ‘And he said, lay hold on him’
The king gave the order to SEIZE him, CAPTURE him, CATCH him and DESTROY him.
And he stretched forth his hand, to lay it upon him.
“And his hand which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it again to him”
The hand froze, the action seized, the event stalled and the motion became paralysed.
As the enemy stretched forth its hands, the power of God suddenly came upon IT and IT became STIFF and MOTIONLESS. And the Lord stayed the hands of every adversary
Thus saith the Lord of hosts, because you have obeyed me and kept my statues, because you have kept my commandments and my word, no EVIL hands shall PREVAIL over you, no EVIL hands shall HINDER your progress and no EVIL hands shall REST upon your inheritance.
I have come by today, to pray for you, shall we?
I pray that every evil hands preventing you from breaking-through, breaking-out, and breaking-in, be PARALYSED by the Lord of Hosts.
Every evil hands shaving the GLORY of God UPON you, let them be OVERCOME by the Power of God. Every evil hands CHASING you NIGHT and Day, let them be CUT OFF by the Power of God.
Every evil hand STRETCHED UPON your business, your career, your job, let them be PARALYSED by the Power in the name of Jesus Christ.
Every evil hand STIRRING UP CONFUSION in the soup of your life, your family, your finances and your relationship be BURNT by the FIRE of the Holy Ghost.
Every evil hand holding on to your blessings, let them be torched by the LIGHTNING of God.
Every miracle of yours in evil hands, let them be released now by the FIRE of God Almighty.
Every evil hands blocking the sunlight of your promotions and glory, be melted by the THUNDER of God. May the HAND of God LOOSE you from every evil hand HOLDING you down in life!
May the FINGER of God RELEASE your WOMD from every evil hands PRESSING it down.
Every evil hands DISTURBING your marriage, be DISSOLVED now by the power in the name of Jesus Christ. The BLOOD of Jesus RELEASE you from evil hands SOWING sickness and diseases into your life.
Every evil hands DIGGING HOLES into your POCKETS, let them be SEVERED by the FIRE of God and the Power of resurrection. Every evil hands WRITING satanic edicts upon your life be BOUND now in the name of Jesus.
The Lord will SMOOTH out your path to the TOP by His hand of fire.
The AFFAIRS of your life will be too hot for the enemy to HANDLE, and power shall begin to change; from evil hands to the hand of God in your life. Did I hear you say amen? So be it.
