“And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams”

(Acts of Apostles 2:17)

Here we see Peter reminding the people of what the Almighty God had said regarding the latter days; children would prophesy, youths shall see visions and elders would dream dreams.

I took a closer look at this verse of scripture, I challenged it like never before.

Wow! Let me share with you what the Holy Spirit ministered to me.

1.

WHAT YOU SAY

‘Your sons and daughters shall prophesy’

To prophesy is to say a thing that would happen in the future. It is to Predict, foresee, foretell and forecast a future occurrence exactly as it would happen.

Prophecy is the Spoken Word concerning the situation.

So What are you saying about IT?

I know it’s tough and challenging, but can you speak about the light at the end instead of the darkness before the light?

There is power in the spoken word

What are your confessions about your future? Your tomorrow? Your expectations?

What are your daily confessions?

Do you say what you want each day or are you constantly talking about what you don’t want?

Proverbs 18:22 says ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits’

God listens to our confessions

He acts according to what we say

Numbers 14:28 ‘Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you’

Have you been saying what you don’t want? Then start from today, change your language and start talking about what you want

2.

WHAT YOU SEE

‘Your young men shall see vision’

What do you see?

When you look in the mirror who do you see?

When you look a few years ahead, what do you see?

When you stare at your past what can you see?

Oral Roberts once said that ‘if you can see the invisible, you can achieve the impossible’

Stop using your present situation as the mirror for your future

Abraham Lincoln was a daily failure until he became US President

Edison failed so many times that failure got tired of him, yet he continued to ‘see’ what others couldn’t see. He still holds the record for the most patents in US history.

What do you see?

See the impossible and say ‘why not’

See the possible and say ‘yes I can’

3.

‘Old men shall dream dreams’

WHAT YOU DO: IT AINT OVER UNTIL ITS OVER

Maybe you’re reading this and you’ve given up on IT, sometime ago

Perhaps you failed so many times you just couldn’t take it anymore

Or you’ve exhausted your resources and you have declared ‘no more’

I have been sent to tell you today that ‘it’s not over unless you give in’

Babe Ruth once said “it’s impossible to defeat someone who refuses to lose”

Old men, dreaming dreams. God says even when it FEELS like it’s past midnight, past IT, past your time, past your season, you can, even when IT FEELS that way, I am not through with you.

What you do is to Keep Dreaming!

Regarding the project I’m not through with you……

Regarding the promise I’m not done yet…..

Regarding my word, IT would still come to pass….

I don’t care how old you are

It doesn’t matter how long it’s taken

What you do is to keep dreaming

Don’t stop believing… keep dreaming and your dreams would come through

How do you keep believing? Hold on to the word of God…,.

‘This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage’ (Joshua 1:8,9)

Have you been blessed? I have.

Remember;

WHAT YOU SAY

WHAT YOU SEE

WHAT YOU DO: IT AINT OVER UNTIL ITS OVER
